The VR Space Limited – Waiver & Release of Liability
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING.
By booking or participating in any experience at The VR Space Limited, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Waiver & Release of Liability.
1. Acknowledgement of Risk
I understand that participation in virtual reality (VR) experiences involves inherent risks, which may include, but are not limited to:
Motion sickness, dizziness, nausea, or eye strain.
Disorientation or loss of balance.
Accidental collisions with physical objects, equipment, or other participants.
Seizures or other adverse health reactions.
I acknowledge that these risks may result in injury, discomfort, or other health-related incidents. I voluntarily choose to participate and accept responsibility for any risks involved.
2. Health & Fitness Declaration
I confirm that I (and/or the participant I am booking for):
Do not suffer from any medical condition that could be aggravated by VR use, including, but not limited to, epilepsy, heart conditions, severe motion sickness, or other neurological conditions.
Are physically and mentally fit to participate in VR activities.
I understand that if I feel unwell, dizzy, or uncomfortable at any point, I must stop immediately and inform a member of staff.
3. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to waive, release, and discharge The VR Space Limited, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from participation in VR activities at The VR Space Limited, whether during or after the session, including but not limited to:
Personal injury.
Illness or health complications.
Loss or damage to personal property.
4. Rules, Safety & Conduct
I agree to:
Follow all safety instructions and guidance given by staff.
Use equipment responsibly and as instructed.
Behave in a safe and respectful manner.
Failure to follow safety rules or staff instructions may result in immediate removal from the session without refund, for the safety of all participants.
5. Media & Photography
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, I understand that photos or video footage may be taken during sessions for marketing or promotional purposes.
If I do not consent to being photographed or filmed, I must notify a member of staff before the session begins.
6. Participants Under 18
Participants under the age of 18 must have this waiver read and agreed to by a parent or legal guardian at the time of booking.
By completing a booking on behalf of a minor, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they:
Have read and understood this waiver.
Accept responsibility for the minor’s participation.
Agree to the terms of this waiver in relation to the minor.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with a booking and ticking the confirmation box, I confirm that:
I am 18 years of age or older, or I am the parent/legal guardian of the participant.
I have read, understood, and agree to this Waiver & Release of Liability.
I accept these terms freely and voluntarily.
